On April 24th, 2018, the third in a series of technical workshops was held jointly by Solidsoft Reply and BgMVO. Solidsoft Reply is the company selected to implement and operate the European Hub and the National Medicines Verification System in Bulgaria. The participants were Bulgarian IT companies, providers of pharmaceutical software for pharmacies and wholesalers of medicinal products.

The meeting focused on the requirements of Directive 2011/62/EU and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/161 which will enter into force on February 9th, 2019. The legal obligations of pharmacies and wholesalers of medicinal products related to the Directive and the role of the IT providers to technically support their customers were discussed in detail.

At the interactive workshop organised by Solidsoft Reply, IT companies had the opportunity to be thoroughly introduced to the processes, user requirements and technical specifications needed to technically connect pharmacies and wholesalers of medicinal products with the Bulgarian Medicines Verification System.
