On 10 October 2020 the team of the Bulgarian Medicines Verification Organisation participated in the Forteenth National Conference in Hospital Pharmacy in the city of Pravets. Mrs Illiana Paunova, BgMVO Executive Director, and Mrs. Nina Nikolova, BgMVO Customer Relations Manager, presented “The Legal Framework of the FMD in Bulgaria. Practical Experience with Verification in Hospital Pharmacies”.

At the conference the discussion related to Directive 2011/62/EU was focused on the amendments in the Law on the Medicinal Products in Human Medicine, published on 28 July 2020, the responsibilities of hospital pharmacies and practical examples of alerts generated in hospital pharmacies during verification and decommissioning.
